Lival cares about the environment
At Lival, environmental issues are an integral part of business activities. Lival considers it a matter of conscience to search for solutions that enable optimal balance between economic growth and minimal ecological impact. Lival has formulated its own environmental policy, based on the EcoEfficiency 2000 programme of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Lival EcoEfficiency 2000 contributes to sustainable ecological development.
Since 18 August 2000, Lival has been certified according to the ISO 14001 standard for the environment.

EcoEfficiency means the sparing use of natural resources to ensure the wellbeing of all people and generations to come. Environmental responsibility is a challenge not a burden. It entails great opportunities for companies and the whole of society.
Life-cycle thinking
The foundation of our environmental work lies in life-cycle thinking, which is of primary concern when developing, producing and marketing new products. Through the implementation of advanced technology and energy-saving processes we strive to minimize harmful environmental effects throughout the life cycle of our products.
Lival's environmental objectives include:
